Lyrics for
First-Aider
Written 13th December 2003. Vocals: Forster Park Choir.
When you are feeling under the weather,
There are
people here in Forster Park who’ll help you on your way.
Go to the
office, once you have told Miss,
And Ms
Taylor or Ms Ford will be there immediately.
If you’re
hot or too cold, if you’re bleeding quite bad
You’re
working in maths; you can’t even add.
You’re
tired and sleepy and don’t feel like play
Eight
magic words Mrs Salter will say…
Could a
first-aider come to reception please?
Someone
has hurt their knees and needs somebody to care.
Could a
first-aider come to reception please?
Wait
with a bowl or a cotton wool ball and do not despair.
Do not despair!
Teachers
are teaching, children are childring,
When the
P.A. clicks we all join in, in perfect unison,
“Could a
first-aider come to reception?”
Then we
carry on as though not anything has been said!
If your
temperature’s rising; your head really aches,
You cannot
stop your uncontrollable shakes.
You don’t
think you’ll last ‘til the end of the day.
Eight
magic words Mrs Stupples will say…
Could a
first-aider come to reception please?
Someone
has hurt their knees and needs somebody to care.
Could a
first-aider come to reception please?
Wait
with a bowl or a cotton wool ball and do not despair.
Do not despair!
